The Danish Film Week will be organised from November 19-27 in both Hanoi (at the National Cinema Centre on 87 Lang Ha Street) and Ho Chi Minh City (at Cinebox on 212 Ly Chinh Thang Street).
The event aims to introduce the Danish contemporary film industry that boasts a wide array of talented actors and filmmakers, said Ambassador of Denmark to Vietnam Charlotte Laursen at a press conference introducing the event.

The film A Royal Affair  will be introduced at the opening day of the week. It tells a gripping tale of brave idealists who risk everything in their pursuit of freedom for the people and is a story full of passion and forbidden romance that changed an entire nation.
The film was nominated for the 2013 Oscar Academy Awards as The Best Foreign Language Film of the Year and has won 21 international prizes and 37 nominations at international awards.
The followers of Danish Embassy’s Facebook were invited to attend a mini-contest on November 12 to win tickets for the films at both Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City locations.
