CPI grows slightly in May

Consumer price index (CPI) in May witnessed a slight rise of 0.2% against the previous month and a year-on-year increase of 4.72%, according to the General Statistics Office (GSO).
In the 5th month, the group of housing, building materials, electricity, water and fuel posted the highest hike with 0.43% against last month.
Price of transport and catering services picked up 0.36% and 0.17%, respectively.
In May, the gold price dropped by 0.85% while the US dollar price fell slightly by 0.04% against April.
