Bust of Dominican Rep's writer Juan Bosch inaugurated in Hanoi

With the inauguration of the statue of Professor Juan Bosch at Hoa Binh Park in Hanoi, the friendship between two countries will have an additional important connection point.
The inauguration ceremony of the statue of Professor Juan Bosch, a writer, a thinker, a soldier fighting for the liberation cause of the Dominican Republic and Latin America was held in Hoa Binh park, Hanoi on August 28.

Attending the inauguration ceremony were President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front's Central Committee Tran Thanh Man, Permanent Vice Secretary of the Hanoi municipal Party Committee Ngo Thi Thanh Hang, Vice Chairman of Hanoi People's Committee Nguyen The Hung and ambassadors of Latin American countries.
Representing the Dominican Republic was General Secretary of the United Left Movement (MIU) and Minister for Regional Integration Policies Miguel Mejia.
Speaking at the ceremony, Chairman of Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee Tran Thanh Man said that with the inauguration of the statue of Professor Juan Bosch at Hoa Binh Park in Hanoi, the friendship between two countries will have an additional important connection point. At the same time, through the inauguration of the statue of Professor Juan Bosch, more hearts of the Dominicans look forward to Vietnam and vice versa. Vietnamese people will have more knowledge of the life and career of Professor Juan Bosch.
For his part, General Secretary of MIU and Minister for Regional Integration Policies Miguel Mejia believed that the inauguration of the statue of Professor Juan Bosch will continue the history of the relationship between two nations so that the generations of today and tomorrow preserves and promotes the spirit of the leaders of two countries, namely President Ho Chi Minh and Professor Juan Bosch, who led the people to fight against the challenges and difficulties of the world today as well as resist the external pressures and influences.
On this occasion, on behalf of the Dominican Republic, General Secretary of MIU and Minister for Regional Integration Policies Miguel Mejia awarded the certificate of merit to the Permanent Vice Secretary of the Hanoi municipal Party Committee Ngo Thi Thanh Hang and Head of the Relic Management Board under the Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports Nguyen Doan Van.
