Best cuisine artisans serve Hanoi specialties to foreign reporters during N.Korea – US summit

In addition to 40 European and Asian-styled dishes, the cafeteria at the International Media Center (IMC) offers nine specialty of Hanoi for free.
Hanoi’s authorities have invited the city’s best cuisine artisans to serve their specialties to foreign reporters at the cafeteria of the IMC during the second North Korea – US summit this week. 

In addition to 40 European and Asian-styled dishes, the cafeteria offers nine specialties of Hanoi for free, including pho Thin (Thin noodles served with beef), bun thang (noodles with chicken broth), bun cha (noodles with grilled meat), xoi Phu Thuong (Phu Thuong sticky rice), banh khuc (cake made of sticky rice mixed with everlasting gnaphalium leaves), gio cha Uoc Le (Uoc Le pork paste), cha com Me Tri (Me Tri fried meat mixed with green sticky rice), che sen Tay Ho (Tay Ho’s lotus seed sweet soup), and cafe trung Giang (Giang egg coffee).

“bun thang” has been top choice for many foreign reporters. Ta Hoang Yen – an artisan making the dish, said with the huge number of reporters, nearly 70 kilograms of noodles have been consumed every day.
