Beautiful moments when Vietnamese men share household tasks
The moments when the dads feed the children, cook or assist their wife ... are honored in the "Vietnamese Equal Families" photo exhibition.
On June 21, the Embassy of Sweden in Vietnam, the Vietnam’s Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Vietnamese Women’s Museum jointly held the announcing and prize awarding ceremony for “Vietnamese Equal Families” photo contest.
The contest was launched in celebration of the International Women’s Day and received the active support of photographers across the country with thousands of submissions.
Through the contest, the Organizing Committee aims to promote equality in families, encourage shared responsibilities among family members, including child care, and housework division, at the same time, strive for a personal career and making positive contributions to society.
According to Mr. Nguyen Huu Thong, who won the first prize with the photo "Sharing at work", family sentiment is a very precious affection for the Vietnamese. The family is the place of departure and also the destination to return.

In this contest, the first and second prize winners were selected by the professionals and photographers while the third prize winer was decided by the internet users through the Facebook page of the Embassy of Sweden. The first, second and third prize were awared in kind with the value of 10 million, 8 million and 7 million Vietnam dongs, respectively. The top three prizes’s photos together with nearly 20 most beautiful photos will continue to be exhibited at the Vietnamese Women’s Museum in Hanoi for one month until the end of July 2017.
