A ceremony for the Soc temple relics to receive award recognized as the special National Site and opening of Soc Temple Festival 2015 was held on February 24 (the 6th day of the first lunar month) at the Soc historic temple area, Soc Son district, Hanoi city.

Attending the ceremony were Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Dang Thi Bich Lien, Vice Chairman of Hanoi People's Committee Nguyen Van Suu, Vice Chairman of Hanoi People's Council Le Van Hoat, Representative of UNESCO in Vietnam Katherine Muller Marin.
On December 31, 2014, Soc Temple relics has been recognized by the Prime Minister as a special national site.
Speaking at the ceremony, Vice Chairman Nguyen Van Suu stressed that, Hanoi will organize the protection of the Soc Temple relics, implementing effectively overall planning and promoting value of the monuments associated with tourism development approved by the Prime Minister.
