Art performance towards national islands, borders to be held in October
A special art performance programme is set to take place on October 4 to help people understand about national seas, islands and borders and call for them to share difficulties with islanders and forces on duty there.
The event will be co-chaired by the HCM City Fatherland Front and the Management Council of the Fund for the native land's sea and islands and the municipal TV Station.
Through the programme, organisers will raise money to assist armed forces, maritime police, fisheries surveillance forces, and fishermen.
During the programme, audience will interact with navy soldiers and border guards to understand more about difficulties facing them in efforts to perform their duties.
