Approving a plan of Soc Son urban satellite area
Hanoi People`s Committee has issued a decision approving the general plan of Soc Son urban satellite area by 2030.
Under the plan, Soc Son suburban district will be developed into a satellite area and green urban corridor by 2030.
The satellite area will spread over 5,459 hectares with an estimated population of 247,000 by 2030.
The area is expected to serve as a service and ecosystem urban area with the Noi Bai Airport and industrial zones.
The Soc Son district will contribute to easing the burden of overpopulation and traffic in downtown Hanoi.
The district will also focus on the preservation of local traditions and protecting the environment.
