Amazing Vietnam through lens of passionate photojournalists
Vietnam, through this exhibition, is portrayed as a dynamic country through a series of significant events.
The press photo exhibition titled “Dau An” (Imprint) is taking place at 29 Hang Bai street, Hanoi from June 17 to 22, presenting nearly 100 selective press photos that featured highlighted events in Vietnam over the past two years.
The second edition of this exhibition, held by the Hanoi Photojournalist Club, is regarded as a practical activity to celebrate the 94th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day (June 21, 1925 – June 21, 2019), according to the government portal.
These photos depicted outstanding moments of Vietnamese journalism in various fields including politics, foreign affairs, economy, culture and society, and clearly portray a rising Vietnam that left its imprint on international friends.
Vietnam, through this exhibition, is described as a dynamic country through a series of significant events including the election of General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam Nguyen Phu Trong as Vietnam’s President, the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Forum in Danang, the US-North Korea summit in Hanoi, and the Vietnamese squad’s victory at AFF Cup 2018, among others.
After seven years of founding, the Hanoi Photojournalist Club has garnered over 70 members who worked restlessly to shoot the most realistic photos and deliver the information promptly on every corner of life.
