AIP Foundation plans to donate 25,000 helmets to Vietnamese students

A memorandum of understanding on a public-private partnership was signed by the US State Department and AIP Foundation in Hanoi on May 14 to raise funds from US and Vietnamese firms to provide helmets and road safety tips to students in provinces across Vietnam.

Under the public-private partnership, AIP Foundation and the US Embassy in Hanoi will organise events and helmet donations supporting the pre-existing Helmets for Kids programme.

The programme aims to provide educational activities and helmets to 25,000 children from at-risk schools across the country. 
This partnership is a platform combining expertise from the US and Vietnamese governments, NGOs, and the business sector to address a mutual public health concern.
