The senators were excited at the world heritage site, the breathtaking limestone karst peaks of Trang An Landscape Complex are dotted with valleys.

Australian President of Senate Sue Lines visited Trang An Scenic Landscape Complex one day after she visited the Temple of Literature – the national special historical relic located in Hanoi where she loved to explore doctorate steles which are unique in the world's architecture, representing the quintessence of Vietnam's education.

UNESCO-recognized Trang An Scenic Landscape Complex in the northern province of Ninh Binh is the next stop of Australian President of Senate Sue Lines during her week-long visit to Vietnam starting on August 24.

The delegation led by President Sue Lines was astonished by the world's natural heritage site’s beauty of the spectacular landscape of limestone karst peaks permeated with valleys, many of them partly submerged and surrounded by steep, almost vertical cliffs.

The visit to Trang An was welcomed by Deputy Chairwoman of Vietnam’s National Assembly (NA) Nguyen Thi Thanh and senior officials of the NA and Ninh Binh Province.

The complex has temples, pagodas, paddy fields, and small villages.
