65 businesses granted National Quality Awards

At the press conference held on March 17, the Ministry of Science and Technology announced a list of 65 Vietnamese companies that have been given National Quality Awards 2014.
Of which, 19 businesses will be achieved Gold Awards, including Can Tho Sugar Joint Stock Company, Dong Tien Joint Stock Company, Traphaco Joint Stock Company, etc. The remainding 46 firms will receive Silver Awards.
The awarding ceremony will be held in Hanoi on March 22.

Director General of the ministry's Directorate for Standards, Metrology and Quality Ngo Quy Viet said the awardees performed excellently in maintaining and improving quality systems and contributing to provincial and national economy. 
The National Quality Awards founded in 2009 are granted by the Prime Minister, and are part of a system of the International Asia-Pacific Quality Awards of the Asia-Pacific Quality Organisation.
