“The neighbor of Thailand and Cambodia is another Asian country that’s getting its reputation as the tourist destination of the year. Vietnam is a country that backpackers love,” The Travel wrote.
It’s a beautiful, scenic, and tranquil place, and notably, it is not that expensive to stay in the place. As a matter of proof, as listed by Vietnam-Guide.com, the entrance fee to one historic site is around VND30,000. That is a very affordable US$1.30. This is the Imperial Citadel of Thang Long, a UNESCO World Heritage site.
Taj Mahal in India tops the list, followed by Penang and Melaka in Malaysia, Torre De Belem in Portugal, Ottawa in Canada, Imperial Citadel of Thang Long in Hanoi, Vietnam, Nevada in the US, etc.
Earlier, Vietnam has been named among the world’s 10 countries you should visit in 2019 if you’re on a budget, according to a list released by Traveller, the essential resource for Australian travel lovers.
“The best meal of your life, ans it will only cost US$2. That’s what’s on offer in Vietnam, not just on one rare occasion, but every time you sit down for breakfast, lunch or dinner,” Traveller wrote.
According to the website, the food here is just so good and cheap. Vietnam has always been popular among budget travelers, and justifiably so. In fact, plenty of people have already visited it. If that’s the case for you, it’s time to go back in 2019, and dig a little deeper. Head out into the Mekong Delta. Explore the highlands around Da Lat. Check out Bong Lai Valley, you won’t be disappointed.
