Regarding the case that one fisherman was shot in Truong Sa archaeology (Spratly), she acclaimed that Viet Nam’s functional agencies are clarifying the case and Viet Nam’s overseas representative agencies are exchanging with neighboring nations’ relevant agencies to investigate the case.
When asked about China’s plan to clear mines in Viet Nam-China border areas, she announced that bombs and mines clearance in border areas are aimed at ensuring local people’s lives and assets, facilitating production activities and promoting border trade cooperation, tourism and people-to-people exchanges between the two sides.
During the process, Vietnamese functional agencies will always cooperate with the Chinese side and ask China to guarantee safety for people and their property.
Viet Nam is deeply concerned about Turkey’s downing of a Russian jet on November 24 and hopes the two countries will hold dialogue to prevent tensions from escalating, Ms. Hang said while answering reporters’ queries on Viet Nam’s reaction to the recent tensions in the Russia-Turkey relations after Turkey’s downing of Russia’s SU-24 aircraft.
Viet Nam hopes that similar incidents would never been repeated, she said, adding that the country supports the international community’s efforts to fight terrorism under any forms and extreme violence.
The issues should be solved in accordance with the UN Charter and fundamental principles of international law on national sovereignty independence and territorial integrity and ensuring safety for people, she affirmed.
