By Tuan Minh 10:38, 2014/09/29
The third season of Vietnam `s Got Talent is scheduled to begin on VTV3 on September 28 night.

The first episode, featuring the elimination round, will bring to viewers the first images of the four judges – meritorious artist Thanh Loc, former model Thuy Hanh, musician Huy Tuan, and artist Hoai Linh — and hostess Thanh Van Hugo.

Winners will progress to the semifinal. The champion gets to pocket 500 million VND (24,000 USD). The contest is open to contestants of all ages, either as individuals or in groups, who can sing, dance, perform magic or comedy, or anything else they want to.

Child dance duo Nguyen Dang Quan and Tran Bao Ngoc of Hanoi won the event in 2011, and were followed by trainee lawyer Tran Huu Kien of the central province of Thanh Hoa in 2012. It was not held last year.

America's Got Talent, created by Simon Cowell, debuted in 2006 and became the No.1 entertainment show on NBC. Since then it has been franchised to 56 countries.
