In the context of the complicated development of the Covid-19 pandemic, the VAR held the event to honor typical and excellent organizations and individuals in real estate brokerage and related fields on August 13.

The top 10 most prominent and award-winning real estate projects include Nova World Phan Thiet, Waterpoint, Sun Marina Town, Vinhomes Smart City, Van Phuc City, La Emera Ha Long, Golden Park Tower, À LA CARTE HALONG BAY, Sonasea Van Don Harbor City, and the Sol City.

The top five proptech companies were batdongsan.com.vn, CENHOMES.VN (cenhomes.vn), Houze Group (houze.group), HOMEDY Vietnam (homedy. com), and dothi.net.

According to Nguyen Van Dinh, Permanent Vice Chairman, General Secretary of the VAR, 2020 - 2021 is a difficult period for the real estate market and businesses whether small or large ones as they have been severely affected by the pandemic. Most real estate companies have to downsize their operations, lay off employees, or reduce their wages and income, some even suffered losses, were dissolved, or went bankrupt.

However, the development of real estate remains an important economic sector in the country, a stable and profitable investment channel, which generates motivation for companies to continue investing and trading real estate, he said.

The honoring ceremony was to recognize the achievements in 2020, as well as encourage businesses and individuals to continue promoting such achievements in 2021.

“The recognition will be of great significance and timely help award-winning enterprises and individuals improve their position, prestige, and competitiveness by bringing into full play internal capacity to recover strongly, contributing to promoting the market’s stable and sustainable development," Dinh said.
