Vietnamese movie about pedophilia attend this Summer

Vietnamese film “S.O.S. Soi Trang (S.O.S. White Wolf)”, focuses on the tragedies of children who were victims of child molestation.

After five years of working in the theatre, director Le Hoang has completed his latest film project on child sexual abuse, which is expected to be released in HCM City this summer. Teaser of S.O.S. White Wolf opens with images of boys shirtless, bound. Then extracts a faint cry of mothers and doll thrown in bushes. The video ended with shocking scenes of boys bleed.
Director Le Hoang explained S.O.S is urgent warning signal, remaining “white wolf” to pedophiles. Besides, “Wolf” is the embodiment of humanity. In each of them there are two wolves: a good wolf, gentle, the rest is filled with anger and cruelty. Choosing to foster wolf is important”.
According to director, crime of pedophilia is present everywhere and behind looks dashing, polite. even, Children can be abused by the people we love. He and Bo Thuy Linh, his producer have kept their film a secret from the media, but they have promised it will provide lessons about a serious issue that many youth know little about. “We hope our production will bring evil deeds to light,” said Hoang, who has more than 20 years of experience in the industry.
In the 1980s and 90s, director Le Hoang worked for the Giai Phong (Liberation) Film Studio, one of the region’s leading State-owned film companies. He reached fame with dozens of quality films, including award-winning works Luong Tam Be Bong (Little Conscience) and Luoi Dao (The Knife) presented by the Viet Nam Cinematography Department.
In 2001, his blockbuster, Gai Nhay (Bar Girl) earned more than VND12 billion (US$660,000 at that time), which launched the commercial film-making trend in Viet Nam. Post-production of S.O.S. White Wolf  will be completed this week. Distributed by Thien Ngan (Galaxy), the film will be in cinemas on June 16.
