Vietnam Airlines Classic – Hanoi Concert 2019 to be broadcast live via big screens

The open-air concert will mark the third comeback of London Symphony Orchestra (LSO) to Hanoi and features some 100 talented artists playing some music instruments of over 200 years old.
The annual cultural event “Vietnam Airlines Classic – Hanoi Concert 2019”, which is slated to take place in downtown Hanoi on October 5, will be broadcast live through 400-inch LED screens placed in Hoan Kiem Lake, Dinh Tien Hoang Street and Tonkin Square.

The event is held according to an agreement on cooperation in cultural and socio-economic development between the Hanoi government and national flag carrier Vietnam Airlines. 

The open-air concert will mark the third comeback of the London Symphony Orchestra (LSO) to Hanoi and features some 100 talented artists playing some music instruments of over 200 years old. 

LSO is expected to bring the professional artistic resonance to Hanoi audiences with eight pieces including Vietnam national anthem and seven musical works by international composers.

Particularly, the orchestra will be led by prestigious conductor Sir Simon Rattle, the legend the world's classical music industry who was honored at the Classic BRIT Awards. 

This annual event will bring world-class cultural and artistic works to local audiences in Hanoi, and portray Vietnam and its capital Hanoi as a country, and city, of rich cultural traditions and identity.
