Vietcombank: The best Vietnam bank in 2017
The magazine Alpha Southeast Asia (Alpha SEA) has held the award ceremony for outstanding financial institutions in the region, in which Vietcombank is awarded as “The best bank in Vietnam”.
At the event on September 14, at Shangri-la, Singapore for outstanding financial institutions in South East Asia organized by Alpha SEA. The awards include the best financial institution in the region and the best financial institutions in various fields at each country. This is the first and only awards focused on Southeast Asia. As such, 2017 is the 11st awards organized by Alpha SEA.
In order to be selected for consideration, Alpha Sea requested financial institutions to provide required documents to support quantitative and subjective evaluation, in turn helps the evaluators to evaluate the subject comprehensively. In 2017, through the process of evaluating 210 documents submitted by stock exchange companies, commercial banks, investment banks, and foreign banks, Alpha Sea has chosen outstanding financial institutions in the region and selected leading institutions for 8 – 14 award categories at each country.
In Vietnam, Vietcombank is highly regarded with efficient business strategy; professional model of administration and operation, which focuses on the benefit of customers in accordance with international standard; the bank also quickly adapts to changes in the market and customer’s demands; sustainable development of growth rate. With this award, Vietcombank continues the leading position at Vietnam’s market, with the target of being the best bank in Vietnam, and one of the top 100 financial institutions in the region, one of the top 300 financial institutions in the world and administrated by best international practice by 2020.
