US Group inaugurates factory in Ha Nam

The US Gentherm Group on March 10 inaugurated a factory manufacturing air-conditioners for the automobile industry in the northern province of Ha Nam.
The Gentherm Vietnam Factory is built on an area of nearly 2.1 hectares in the Dong Van 2 Industrial Park in Duy Tien district at a total cost of nearly 28 million USD. It creates jobs for approximately 1,500 labourers. 
Its key products include seat air-conditioners and heaters, ventilators, and electric wire and cable for the automobile industry.

Addressing the inauguration ceremony, Director General of the company Alison Astarita pledged that the factory will ensure its effective and environmentally-friendly operation. 
Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Pham Sy Loi said the factory operation will create jobs for locals and improve their living conditions, thus contributing to province’s development.
