After two preliminary rounds in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, the judges selected top 70 girls to enter the reality show and participated in the semi-finals to be held in Nha Trang from October 25 to November 4. On the eve of the first episode of "I am Miss Universe Vietnam 2017", the Organizers officially revealed the list of the first 10 contestants in the top 70 semi-finals.

Ms. Bui Ly Thien Huong

Ms. Bui Ly Thien Huong (No. 326) is a remarkable beauty in the preliminary round of the South. A Giang province’s representative owns the Asian beauty with white skin and gentle style, but very strong personality. She is determined to become the first Miss Universe Vietnam of the Southwest. In the challenges of "I am Miss Universe Vietnam 2017", she is often among the most prominent candidates.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong Thuong

The student of medical university, Ms.  Nguyen Thi Hong Thuong (No. 143) is gradually improving to remove the judgment of "Ms. Nguyen Thi Loan’s copy" before. She shared, the dimple smile help her feel confident with the judges and the audience.

Ms. Hoang Hai Thu

Ms. Hoang Hai Thu (No. 106) is one of the outstanding candidates of the preliminary round of the North.  English is her strength.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Ngoc Nu

Ms. Nguyen Thi Ngoc Nu (No. 346) from Nghe An province received much attention right from the first days of submitting applications for "Futurista Online". Without height advantage as many other candidates, but her charming smile and clever way of communication help her to be listed in the semifinal.

Ms. Le Thi Ngoc Ut

Representatives of Kien Giang province, Ms. Le Thi Ngoc Ut (No. 232) said that when receiving the official announcement in the top 70, she was happy but equally pressured.

Ms. Lam Que Phi

As a new face, Ms. Lam Que Phi (No. 233) from Dong Nai has many suitable potentials and qualities for Miss Universe Vietnam.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Huyen Trang

Ms. Nguyen Thi Huyen Trang (No. 113) is a prominent beauty representing for Ha Long - Quang Ninh province. In the challenging activities of "I am Miss Universe Vietnam 2017," Huyen Trang is always the most enthusiastic and energetic contestant.

Ms. Nguyen Diem Uyen

Ms. Nguyen Diem Uyen (No. 308) comes from Nam Dinh province but was born and grows up in Ho Chi Minh City. Miss Universe Vietnam is a great challenge that the International Business student determined to conquer.

Ms. Lai Quynh Giang

When informed in the semi-finals, Ms. Lai Quynh Giang (No. 135) is very excited. To prepare for this beauty contest, she spent a year to take exercise and lose weight.

Ms.Vu Thi Tuyet Trang

Ms.Vu Thi Tuyet Trang (No. 115) is a special candidate in the North with outstanding academic achievements at the Foreign Trade University. She has received many scholarships from the school and come to many countries such as Korea, Colombia and Singapore.
The list of remaining contestants in the top 70 will be announced in episode 1 of the reality show "I am Miss Universe Vietnam 2017". Currently, the program is in the recording time and will be broadcasted at Sunday 21h35 on a weekly basis on VTV9 and other television channels.
Besides, the supermodel- Ms. Vo Hoang Yen’s appearance at "I am Miss Universe Vietnam 2017" also makes the audience more curious. She was the first runner-up in 2008 and also Vietnamese representative at Miss Universe 2009.
