Thanh Bui and The Lyricist appear in RedOne’s music video

Vietnamese singers Thanh Bui and the band The Lyricist appeared in the music video for "Don’t You Need Somebody" by American music producer - musician RedOne, a Grammy award winner.
This is the first time that Vietnamese artists have taken part in a musical project of international stars.
Recently, RedOne released music video "Don’t You Need Somebody" on Youtube. The MV had the participation of celebrities like Jennifer Lopez, Akon, Ryan Seacrest, Randy Jackson, football stars Cristiano Ronaldo, James Rodriguez, tennis star Rafael Nadal... and two representatives from Vietnam, Thanh Bui and The Lyricist.
In "Don’t You Need Somebody", the scenes of Thanh Bui and The Lyricist were filmed by Alexander Tu in Ho Chi Minh City’s popular tourist sites like the Ben Thanh Market, Nguyen Hue Street, and the Times Square building.
"This is an opportunity for me to introduce to international friends a fresh and dynamic image of Vietnam today. Besides, the song also provides a meaningful message - we need more love in this life, between man and man, to share and make life more meaningful ... ", Thanh Bui said.
It is known that the relationship between Thanh Bui and Reb One began in 2015. At that time, the American music producers went to Vietnam to cooperate in a number of international music projects of Thanh Bui.
Thanh Bui is pioneer in cooperating with international artists. Before Red One, he had worked with international artists like Thai star Tata Young in the MV “Where Do We Go”, with Korean band BTS in the MV “Danger”, which reached No. 1 on the Korean music charts and Top 3 World Billboard Album.
Thanh Bui is planning to develop music products in the international market.
Nadir Khayat, known professionally as RedOne, is a Moroccan Swedish record producer, singer-songwriter, and record executive.
