Vietnamese swimmer Nguyen Thi Anh Vien bagged bronze at the women’s 400-metre individual medley event on August 16 at the 2015 International Swimming Federation (FINA) World Cup Paris in Chartres city, France.

There were no surprises on the top rung of the podium as Hungarian female swimming legend Katina Hosszu was the champion of this category with 4:35:80. Hosszu’s countryman Zsuzsanna Zakabos came second with 4:37:63.
Natalie Cammile Adams from the US was holding onto third place for the first 200 metres, but Vien passed her in the breaststroke to take the medal.
Vien recently won a silver medal during the 2015 FINA (International Swimming Federation) World Cup Moscow in Russia earlier this month.
