Squared Furniture’s Third Exhibition by Daniel Henneberry
Thanh Huyen 21:20, 2017/05/12
Exhibition of handmade square furniture by British musician/artist Daniel Henneberry.
It has been almost two years since my last exhibition and in that time I’ve been busy making a whole new range of furniture, paintings and decor that I am very excited to share with you all!
This collection has some of the biggest pieces I have ever made, including large tables, desks, cabinets and shelving. I’ve also made a few more of the original squared tables that were so popular at my first exhibition as well as a whole range of lamps, smaller tables, paintings and some designs that were from my second exhibition. Over the last few years I’ve also began working a lot with pyrography, wood-burning designs, which can be seen on several of the pieces as well as on lots of the decor and paintings.
If you are unfamiliar with my work I’ve been making furniture in my house for almost six years now and all the work is done by myself and all the designs are my own.
I generally use a mix of new wood, old doors, pallets, shutters, pieces of chairs and whatever else I can get my hands on. Collecting the material is a part of the process that takes a lot of time and it is almost always bought. I also like to use bright colours and patterns which can be seen throughout my work.
– Daniel Henneberry
Squared Furniture’s Third Exhibition by Daniel Henneberry will run from 13 to 17 May 2017 at ClickSpace Coworking & Spacebar Café, Villa 15, lane 76, To Ngoc Van street, Hanoi.
