Spring Cinema: “Head Full of Honey”

Screening of the comedy-drama movie “Head Full of Honey” within the framework of a screening program of 10 most popular German movies of the past years.
11-year-old Tilda always had a special connection to her grandfather Amandus. But as Amandus forgets more and more, Tilda is alarmed. When his son cannot cope with him any longer and is about to send Amandus to a nursing home, Tilda tries to prevent this by all means.
Without further ado she sets out on a great journey with Amandus in order to fulfill his heart’s desire: Seeing Venice once again, the city he visited together with his deceased wife many years ago…
Til Schweiger, born 1963 in Freiburg, has been in the film business for more than 20 years and gained huge popularity as an actor in Germany. Besides that, he also works as a director, producer and script writer. For his work both in front of and behind the camera he has been awarded many times. He has also participated in international productions and was seen on screen next to Brad Pitt. For the film “Head full of honey” he was director, producer, co-author and actor.
“Head Full of Honey” will be screened on 22 Feb 2017, 7 pm at Goethe-Institut Hanoi, 56-58 Nguyen Thai Hoc, Ba Dinh, Hanoi and Salon Van hoa Ca Phe Thu Bay, 1st floor, 19B Pham Ngoc Thach, Dist 3.
