The concert will be also performed by violinist Hoang Tuan Cuong and artists of HBSO under the baton of Vietnamese conductor Tran Vuong Thach.
Music lover will be entertained by famous pieces such as Tchaikovsky’s piano Concerto No.1, Op.23 and Henryk Wieniawsky’s violin Concerto No.1, Op.14 as well as the Nocturne ‘Echo from past’ by local composer Do Hong Quan.
Young graduated from Vienna State Conservatory in 2000 and got her Master’s decree with honor from Gnessin Academy in Moscow in 2007. Young has since won a host of international awards and has appeared in many concerts in Seoul, Vienna, and Vietnam.
Young had first CD recorded at the Studio 1 Abbey Road London and released early this month. At present, she is a professor of the piano department in HCMC Conservatory of Music.
Tickets for the upcoming concert priced at VND400,000, VND350,000 and VND200,000 are available at the Opera House, 7 Lam Son Square in District 1. Students pay only VND80,000 for admission.
