“Seoul Days in Hanoi 2016” programme draws numerous local residents
The “Seoul Days in Hanoi 2016” programme, co-chaired by the Seoul city government and Hanoi People`s Committee to mark 20th anniversary of bilateral ties between Vietnam’s capital city and Seoul of the Republic of Korea (RoK), opened at Ly Thai To Garden on October 28.

Vice Chairman Le Hong Son highlighted the valuable support of the Korean Government and people to the development of Hanoi and Vietnam at large.
The “Seoul Days in Hanoi” programme brought special cultural identities as well as the land and people of Seoul closer to Hanoians, contributing to further tighten friendship between the two countries and two peoples.
Seoul artists are taking in a range of activities in Hanoi to mark the 20th anniversary of bilateral ties between the capital city and RoK’s Seoul.
Through art performances and a photo exhibition, the programme looks to increase mutual understanding and friendship between the two capital cities’ residents while strengthening the relationship between Vietnam and the RoK.

Vietnam and the RoK elevated their bilateral relationship to a strategic partnership in 2009. The bilateral friendship cooperation ties has been developing very well.
The RoK is one of Vietnam’s leading partners in terms of foreign direct investment (FDI), official development assistance (ODA), trade, education-training, culture and social affair.
Hanoi and Seoul have maintained the friendly and close relationship ties In the past 20 years.
Hanoi always attaches importance to further developing its friendship and cooperation with Seoul, one of the leading urban centers in Asia, looking to lift it to a new height, Vice Chairman Le Hong Son stated.
