President Tran Dai Quang pledges all best conditions for Brunei investors

President Tran Dai Quang received Brunei Prince Pengiran Muda Abdul Qawi and accompanying businesses in Hanoi on May 18 during his visit to explore investment opportunities in Vietnam in general and in the central province of Thanh Hoa in particular.
At the reception, the President affirmed that Vietnam hopes to cooperate with all countries in the world, and will create favourable conditions for Brunei enterprises as well as international investors doing business in the country in such fields as development of infrastructure for economic zones and industrial parks, hotels and tourism.

President Quang expressed his pleasure at the progress of the traditional friendship and multifaceted cooperation between Vietnam and Brunei in recent years, particularly in politics, economy, culture, sports and education and training. 
The State leader cited that Vietnam and Brunei have created a myriad of cooperation mechanisms and signed numerous bilateral agreements. 
However, he noted that the two sides need to further boost their collaboration in economy and trade as it has not matched potential and expectations yet. 
President Quang appreciated the working trip by Prince  Pengiran Muda Abdul Qawi and his entourage to Thanh Hoa province, which owns rich natural resources, abundant labourers and has high provincial competitive index. 
Thanh Hoa also has great potential and advantages to develop industry, agriculture, forestry, fisheries and services, tourism, he added. 
During the meeting, Prince Pengiran Muda Abdul Qawi mentioned the fields Brunei has prioritised for investing in Vietnam and Thanh Hoa province in particular in the fields of energy, infrastructure, industrial parks and clean energy.
Vietnam now is one of the best investment markets in Southeast Asia, the Prince said.
President Tran Dai Quang expressed his hopes that international investors will continue to increase investment in Vietnam. The Vietnamese State and Government will create all favourable conditions for international investors as well as Brunei enterprises who wish to invest in the country, the President said.
President Quang believed that the Prince's visit will help introducing an overall objective view about potential, advantages and investment opportunities in Thanh Hoa province in particular and Vietnam in general, creating a new impetus for Brunei businesses to expand investment in Vietnam.
