PCA’s ruling receives support from OVs in Japan
Vietnamese expats in Fukuoka and Hiroshima cities of Japan and peace-loving Japanese people went on a march to ask China to respect the recent ruling by the Permanent Court of Arbitration in The Hague, the Netherlands, relating to disputes in the East Sea.
They said they applaud the ruling issued by the PCA on July 12 on the Philippines’s lawsuit against China concerning disputes in the East Sea, and reject China’s groundless claims on the so called “nine-dash line” in the sea.
In a statement read and sent to the Chinese Consulate General in Fukuoka in three languages – Vietnamese, Japanese and English, the Vietnamese community stressed its protest against China’s militarisation in the East Sea and affirmed Vietnam’s indisputable sovereignty over the Hoang Sa (Paracel) and Truong Sa (Spratly) archipelagos in the East Sea.
