The album Gieo (Sowing) by the band Ngot has scored a nomination in the category Best Boxed Or Special Limited Edition Package for the 2024 Grammy Awards, and the nominee is Creative Director Duy Dao, according to the official website of the Grammy Awards, organized annually by the Recording Academy of the United States.

Introduced in 1995, the Best Boxed or Special Limited Edition Package category recognizes the most impressive special edition music album or album box designs.

Thank you Ngot Band for trusting and being patient with me," said artist Duy Dao right after the official nomination list was announced.

Ngot is a Vietnamese pop-rock band consisting of four members: Vu Dinh Trong Thang (vocals, backing guitar), Phan Viet Hoang (bass), Nguyen Hung Nam Anh (drums) and Hoang Chi Trung (keyboards).

The 66th Grammy Awards (2024) will take place on February 4, 2024 in Los Angeles, US. The award has 94 categories, most notably Record of the Year, with candidates such as Jon Batiste, Miley Cyrus, Boygenius, Billie Eilish, Olivia Rodrigo, Taylor Swift, SZA and Victoria Monét in the official nominations list.
In 2022, Vietnamese-American singer Sangeeta Kaur (Teresa Mai) won the 64th Grammy Award in the category of "Best Classical Solo Vocal Album". Sangeeta Kaur was born Mai Xuan Loan in California to a family of Vietnamese origin. She graduated from the Boston Conservatory of Music, Massachusetts with a Master's Degree in Performance Music.
