Malaysian group invests in Song Hau 2 Thermal Power Plant

The People’s Committee of the Mekong Delta province of Hau Giang and the Malaysian Toyo Ink Group on December 15 initialed a contract for Song Hau 2 Thermal Power Plant project, reported Sai Gon Giai Phong (Liberated Sai Gon) newspaper.
Toyo Ink Managing Director Song Kok Cheong said this is an important landmark for bilateral cooperation .
Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Trinh Xuan Thanh said the province will closely cooperate with investors and relevant sides in making necessary preparations for the project.
The 2,000MW Song Hau 2 Thermal Power Plant is a foreign invested project with the largest capacity in Vietnam so far. It is the second phase of the 3 billion USD Song Hau Power Complex.
