Lunar New Year Celebration 2017 part II
Plenty of art and cultural offers for you to enjoy the best of Rooster’s Year in Vietnam.

In Vietnam, Lunar New Year is called Tet (Tết), and public holidays for Lunar New Year 2017 span from 26 January to 02 February (7 days). During these public holidays, most institutions, businesses and companies are closed so that people can spend time with their families. There are no fireworks this year in Hanoi or HCMC because the Government plans to use the budget to support families having suffered from the disastrous flood last year in central Vietnam.
Project "Get Creative with Tet Paintings 2017"

Different from last year event, this will a good time for all art lovers who love to have different experiences.
In additions, we also select the best work for the prize “Spring Gifts for the Arts” (Lộc xuân với nghệ thuật). The rules, forms and prizes will be announced soon.
“Get Creative with Tet Paintings 2017″ will open on 21 Jan and be on display until 11 Feb 2017, 9 – 11.30 am, 2 – 6 pm at Van Lake, Temple of Literature, Hanoi.
Sculpture Exhibition “Dints” by Khong Do Tuyen
The solo exhibition “Dints”, featuring 17 sculptures by sculptor Khong Do Tuyen.

Sculpture Exhibition “Dints” will open on 13 Jan and be on display until 13 Feb 2017 at UrbanArt, 46 Nguyen Thi Minh Khai, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City.

Exhibition “Hanoi” – Debut of Urban Sketchers Hanoi
The opening of exhibition “Hanoi” and debut of the sketch group Urban Sketchers Hanoi who records the heritages, beautiful images and distinct lifestyle of Hanoi through sketching.
