The event themed “Hat mai cho nhau” (singing forever for each other) aims to mark the duo’s 34 years of singing career and to pay tribute to audiences. Especially, it will reflect the journey to music of Cam Van, the singer who has a unique alto voice with blunt bangs and ao dai as stage costumes. She grew up from music programs for students and was named “Queen of pop” in Vietnam in the 80s. Van was the first singer in HCMC who was invited to perform in the U.S., Germany, Bulgaria, Russia and other Eastern European countries.

Local veteran musician Nguyen Van Ty, who helped persuade Van’s family to let her join in a TV performance at the startup, commented that Van was a pearl, a diamond to be polished.

“We will make our best to say thank-you to people who have supported us for years,” said Van. It is expected that the duo will perform over 20 popular local and foreign songs.

Invited guests to the show are singers Dam Vinh Hung, Phuong Thanh, MTV band and a Filipino artist named Rex.

Tickets to the show are priced from VND300,000 to VND900,000. Hoa Binh Theater is located at 240 Ba Thang Hai Street, District 10, HCMC.
