L’Espace to hold exhibition highlighting French gastronomy

The exhibition will take place from April 9 to May 9 No. 24, Trang Tien, Hoan Kiem, Hanoi.

The French Cultural Center in Hanoi - L'Espace will kick start the Photo Exhibition entitled "Toque blanche", or French gastronomy, running from April 9 to May 9 (No. 24, Trang Tien, Hoan Kiem, Hanoi).

The exhibition will see the participation of two groups of Vietnamese photographers. HaileCao Studio, which shoot black and white portraits of French's chefs working in Hanoi, and the Chimkudo Studio, with color pictures depicting these chefs' signature dishes.

Photos by French artist Fabien Jacob will also be on display through Augmented reality (AR) technology.

Besides watching the artworks of talented photographers, the audience will also savour delicious French appetizers prepared by chefs from the twelve French restaurants participating in this photography project including Le Beaulieu, Chez Manon, La table du Chef, Maison Vie, Les Oubliés, Cousins, Saint Honoré, Quinza, Café Dulac, 3 Spoons, French Grill, La Badiane.

A seminar on French gastronomy will take place on May 8 at L'Espace hall during the exhibition, with the participation of photographer Nguyen Huy Hung (Chimkudo) and culinary stylist Nguyen Minh Hien.
