Hanoi to organize Spring Festival to welcome 2015 Lunar New Year
The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Hanoi will organize the Spring Festival to welcome the lunar new year 2015 from February 4-10 (the 16th to 22nd day of the last lunar month) at Quan Ngua Sports Palace.
The festival is one of the activities in response the National Tourism Year 2015, contributing to the preservation and promotion of the unique culture of Hanoi.
Accordingly, during the event, there will be diverse cultural activities such as circus performances, street magic, a chess contest and folklore games.
About 300 pavilions on culture, traditional villages, gastronomy, tourism about Hanoi will be held in the festival. The highlight of this Spring Festival is to introduce specific festivals in Hanoi such as Giong Saint festival and Huong Pagoda festival.
