Hanoi to hold the "Day of Vietnamese Book" on April 17
Ministry of Information and Communications in coordination with the Department of Publishing, Printing and Distribution, and several publishing houses nationwide will organize the "Day of Vietnamese Book" on April 17 in Thong Nhat Park in Hanoi.
The "Day of Vietnamese Book" is one of activities to celebrate the 40th anniversary of Reunification Day (April 30), and the 125th birth anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh on May 19.
The event will feature several booths presenting newly published books as well as old publications that will be sold at special rates.
Beside the distribution of books among poor children, the event will have discussions and workshops on book publishing and books' topics.
