Hanoi to deploy key misions for 2018's judicial work

The Hanoi People’s Committee has recently released Plan No. 08/KH-UBND on deploying eight key missions for 2018`s judicial work.
Under the Plan, eight major tasks of the judicial work include: building, considering, checking and reviewing the system of legal documents; monitoring the law enforcement and implementing Laws on handling of administrative violations and State compensation liability; popularizing and educating laws, mediation at grass level and building, performing conventions; judicial administration; state management of legal aid; apparatus organization; strengthening inspection and handling complaints, denunciations and anti-corruption; administrative reform and strengthening the application of information technology.



 

Departments, sectors, agencies and People’s Committees of districts, suburban districts and towns, basing on the plan and their functions, missions, are tasked to make judicial plans in 2018 to effectively implement key missions of the judiciary in 2018; regularly check and urge the implementation of assigned tasks.

Moreover, departments, sectors, agencies and People’s Committees of districts, suburban districts and towns will consolidate public servants in charge of legal work at district and communal levels to meet demands of duties; ensure facilities and funds to deploy assigned missions; coordinate with the Department of Justice to open professional skill training courses for officials and civil servants.

The Department of Justice advised Hanoi People’s Committee to direct the implementation of key plans for 2018 in the capital city; instruct, check and urge agencies, unit to implement the plan; proactively build and deploy the plan on monitoring fields of the judicial work.

Departments, sectors, agencies and People’s Committees of districts, suburban districts and towns are responsible for giving periodic reports to the Department of Justice before May 30 and November 15, 2018. The Department of Justice is in charge of giving general report to the Municipal People’s Committee before June 15 and November 30, 2018 as regulated.
