Hanoi Golden Promotion Fair: Connecting enterprises with customers

The Hanoi Golden Promotion Fair 2017 is not only an opportunity for enterprises to introduce new products, stimulating consumption in the remaining month of the year, but also to advertise specialties to Hanoians.
This is the statement of the Director of Hanoi Promotion Agency (HPA) Nguyen Gia Phuong with regard to main activities of the Hanoi Promotion Month 2017. 


With the theme of “Taking Vietnamese goods to Customers”, the Hanoi Golden Promotion Fair 2017 with 300 booths has attracted the participation of 200 enterprises, including 80% enterprises produce high quality Vietnamese goods. Compared to the fair in 2016, this year the event has 20% more in terms of the number of discount goods. In particular, the fair has attracted high number of leading Vietnamese brands, such as Goldsun, Sunhouse, JanHome, Hai Ha Bakery, Hanoimilk, RangDong, Duc Giang, etc. As such, enterprises have brought to the Fair more than 50,000 new products with high quality and for discounted price, at the same time to organize sales events for customers. 

At the booth of Rand Dong displaying lighting products, a customer said, the lighting products here are cheaper from 5 – 10%, and the most important thing is that they are not fake with low quality. Representative of Rang Dong said, the Hanoi Golden Promotion Fair is not only an opportunity for enterprises to sell goods, but also to advertise brands and products to customers, with a view to keep the market shares against imported products. 

Recently, customers are in favor of specialties, however, enterprises have not pay sufficient attention in advertising products, so that not everyone knows about these products. In order to advertise products and bring specialties to customers, the Hanoi Department of Industry & Trade has put up effort in inviting enterprises and producers from other provinces to take part in the Golden Promotion Fair. According to the Hanoi Department of Industry & Trade, the Fair has attracted handful of enterprises from Phan Thiet, Hai Phong, Hoa Binh, Hung Yen, Lao Cao, Nghe An and Son La to introduce specialties to Hanoians. At the same time to encourage traditional craft villages advertising products to Hanoi.

Taking attention to local specialties such as Cao Phong orange, Ha Nam banana, Hoang Thi Hoa in Hoang Hoa Tham street said: at present, the issue of food safety is the main concern of the public, meanwhile most of food displayed in traditional markets do not have the food safety certificate, so people are concern about the food quality. Therefore, the organization of Hanoi Golden Promotion Fair will help housewives to access and buy local specialties with high quality and clear origins. 

With the high demand for foods in preparation for the upcoming Lunar New Year, Nguyen Thi Nga in Khuong Dinh ward shared, these products are sold in traditional markets but with unclear quality, while concern over buying online is unclear origin. Meanwhile, local specialties sold at the Hanoi Golden Promotion Fair brought directly by producers and enterprises, so that products are ensured with regard to products and origins.
