Six gold trophies, six sets of individual medals and hundreds of gifts for the best young competitors were awarded at the tournament, which will be split into U6, U7, U8, U9, U11 and open tables.

The young chess players played seven games (eight minutes per game) in accordance with the Chess Competition Law issued by the Vietnam Chess Federation.

The players taking part in the tournament were paired and competed according to the FIDE-adapted Swiss system and will be ranked according to the Elo coefficient of rapid chess (according to the FIDE Elo table for February 2023).

FIDE Chess Master Nguyen Thi Diem Huong, head of the tournament organizers, said: "This tournament is not only a useful intellectual playground for Hanoi children. It is also an opportunity to find young talents for the city, provincial and national competitions".

The organizers of the tournament wanted to turn the tournament into an annual playground and to bring the experience of world competition to the young players of Hanoi.

According to Dang Thi Tuyen, general director of Chessleader JSC, the organizer of the tournament, the "Sieu Toc Ba Vuong" cup is also a contribution to the promotion of the chess movement among students and young people in Hanoi.
