Ha Long city to host Miss Tourism International in November

The Elite Vietnam Company was licensed by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism to organise the Miss Tourism International 2015 beauty pageant, which will be held in Ha Long city from November 10-30.
Vietnam participated in the contest for the first time in 2002. This beauty competition has been organised since 1994 and has mainly taken place in Malaysia. So far the only event once held in another country, China was in 2006.

It is expected that this year's competition will attract about 60-65 contestants from countries around the world. 
According to the Vietnamese organiser, the event is considered as an opportunity to introduce the tourism potential of the UNESCO World Heritage Site, Ha Long Bay.
