Further strengthening Hanoi - Chiang Mai press cooperation
On December 12, at the headquarters of the Journalists Association of Hanoi, Hanoi Journalists Association cordially received the Chiang Mai Provincial Journalists Association (Thailand) to visit and work in Vietnam.

The Thailand's journalists union saw the presence of Mr. Amnat Jongyotting, Chairman of Chiang Mai Journalists Association, Executive Committee Member of the National Press Council of Thailand; Ms. Ubonnadda, Director of Thai News Newspaper, Executive Board Member of the National Journalism of Thailand and many representatives of the media authority of the Chiang Mai Province.

Mr. Jongyotting also expected that this time's visit and this working group will set the premise of building partnerships to exchange experiences on the work of the press between the Unions and the two countries, that have also developed economy and tourism between Hanoi and Chiang Mai Province, as well as for Vietnam.

He shared that Chiang Mai is potential areas for tourism and he committed that members of the Hanoi Journalists Association will enhance communication support for Chiang Mai travel. He also expressed hope that during the visit to Hanoi, the delegation of Thailand journalists will have opportunity to learn more about the country and people of Vietnam, thereby expanding communication operations more effectively for Hanoi.
