An amusing French blockbuster filled with fights, dances, songs and a lot of irreverent teasing.
This amusing French blockbuster should please everyone willing to have fun watching fights, dances, songs and a lot of irreverent teasing.
On Christmas Eve, Sam and his best friend Khalid dress up as Father Christmas so that they can steal everything they can from Galeries Lafayette. But Sam is rapidly trapped by some children and must tell them a story… the story of Aladdin… well, at least, his version. As Aladdin, Sam then begins a journey to the heart of Bagdad, a city with a thousand and one riches. Alas, folklore masks the reality of a population subjected to the tyranny of a terrible Vizir known for his ferociousness and his dubious breath. Can Aladdin, the young thief aided by his Genie, thwart the Vizir’s diabolical plans, save Khalid and win the heart of Princess Shallia?
Language: French with Vietnamese subtitles
“Les Nouvelles Aventures d’Aladin” will be screened on Sun 26 Feb 2017, 4 pm at L’Espace.
