FIFA picks Vietnam’s futsal goal as World Cup’s top 10
The International Football Federation (FIFA) has chosen Nguyen Minh Tri’s goal in the September 11 match between Vietnam and Guatemala at the Futsal World Cup Colombia 2016 as one of the tournament’s top 10 goals.
Tri showed his skills before unleashing an unstoppable shot that raised his team’s score to 3-1
He scored a hat-trick to help world No 42 Vietnam beat world No 24 Guatemala 4-2 in their opening game at the World Cup.
Besides Tri, Brazil’s Falcao, Argentina’s Cristian Borruto and Thailand’s Suphawut Thueanklang were also named on the list.
Earlier, Vietnam’s team won the fair play award following its impressive performance at the event for only getting four yellow in four matches, earning a ticket to compete in round 16 of the event.
