09:53, 2015/05/23
A folk game festival is planned to get underway at Vietnam Museum of Ethnology in Hanoi from May 30-31.
About 20 folk games from Vietnam and foreign countries will be featured at the event, including bag jumping (from Thailand and Vietnam), walking on coconut shells (from Laos, Indonesia and Thailand), Yut Nori (from the Republic of Korea) and rope-walking (from Uzbekistan).

Visitors will have an opportunity to take part in other activities, such as fashion shows on traditional clothes, making folk toy and learning to act as MCs.
A organizing board representative said that the festival celebrates International Children’s Day (June 1) and visitors will have an opportunity to explore cultural similarities and differences in the world.
