Exhibition “The Journey of Faith”

Exhibition of 3 sculptures and 30 paintings on Dó paper by 5 Hanoian artists.
The group exhibit “The journey of Faith” by 05 sculptors and painters from Hanoi: sculptor Tran Thuc, and 4 artists Nguyen Doan Ninh, Trinh Vu Hieu, Nguyen Minh Hieu, Dang Anh Viet. The exhibition will feature 3 sculptures and 30 paintings on Dó paper which were finished in 2016.
About the authors:
– Tran Thuc is a young sculpture artist known for his ultra-realistic style. He won several prizes at national art and sculpture exhibitions.
– Trinh Vu Hieu is a person who does not stick to only one form of visual art. In 2015, he organized a solo exhibition of brown pottery in Hanoi. He initiates and organizes Vietnam Photo Fair, the annual Vietnamese photography fair, from 2015.
– Nguyen Minh Hieu is a graphic artist for a representative company of a big Spanish furniture maker in Hanoi.
– Nguyen Doan Ninh learned about lacquer in Hanoi University of Industrial Fine Art but he did not choose this material, perhaps because of strict principles of traditional lacquer, which made him feel uncomfortable.
– Dang Anh Viet graduated from Huazhong University of Education, Wuhan, Hubei, China. Back to Vietnam, he regularly participates in calligraphy and graphic exhibition.
The exhibition will open on 09 Mar 2017 and be on display until 15 Mar 2017, at Ho Guom Cultural Information Centre, No. 2 Le Thai To Street, Hoan Kiem District, Hanoi.
