Exhibition “Giá thánh” by Tran Tuan Long

The first painting exhibition about the Đạo Mẫu mother goddess worship in Vietnam since it was recognized as an Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity in December 2016.
The solo exhibition “Giá Thánh” by Tran Tuan Long – the first painting exhibition about Đạo Mẫu (the worship of mother goddesses in Vietnam) after it is recognized as an Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.
It was not until UNESCO recognized Đạo Mẫu as as Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity in Dec 2016 was painter Tran Tuan Long interested in Đạo Mẫu. He has been mesmerized by the fascinating moments of Hầu Đồng for almost 20 years.
Tran Tuan Long was born in 1967. He graduated from the Vietnam University of Fine Arts in 1995 and specializes in traditional lacquer painting. He had participated in solo/group exhibitions in Vietnam, Taiwan, Korea, Germany, etc…
The exhibition “Giá thánh” by Tran Tuan Long will be open on  Wed 08 Mar 2017, 6 pm and be on display until  15 Mar 2017 at Vietnam Fine Arts Museum, 66 Nguyen Thai Hoc St
