“Europe Day” Gala Concert

Classical music concert with pianist Célimène Daudet & some of the most talented opera artists in HCMC.
Celimène Daudet is a well-known French pianist who has won prestigious international awards: Jean Francaix in France, Val d’Isère Prize, the FNAPEC “Ensemble Music” and Pro Musicis International Prize. Many of her recordings are highly acclaimed, including those of Bach’s works. She is the artistic director of “Lucien Durosoir Festival”. As a solo artist, she has performed in Europe, Asia and North America. Celimène Daudet will perform with W. A. Mozart’s Concerto for Piano No. 23 at the concert within the framework of Europe Days in Vietnam 2017.
The second part of the show introduces excerpts of the world famous musicals and theater: “Messiah”, “Tosca”, “Nabucco”, “Rusalka”, “Candide”, “Le Cid”, “Die Csárdásfürstin”, with the participation of the most prestigious opera artists in Ho Chi Minh City: Cho Hae Ryong, Pham Trang, Pham Duyen Huyen and HBSO choir and vocal group Saigon Ladies Singers.
The concert is led by Vietnamese conductor, Tran Vuong Thach, and the choral choirmaster Tran Nhat Minh.
