Enjoy Sculpture exhibition in Hanoi with theme “The May Sculpture Workshop”

An exhibition of the artworks made during the workshop will be open for public on 22 – 31 May. It aims to become a professional space for students, faculty members and sculptors inside and outside the school to practice making arts with different materials. In addition, a sculpture workshop, part of the Faculty of Sculpture of the Vietnam University of Fine Arts, has come into operation in May 2017 on the university’s campus.
The first activity of the workshop – “The May Sculpture Workshop” took place from 10 – 20 May 2017 with the participation of lectures from the Faculty of Sculpture, including: Khong Do Tuyen, Tran Trong Tri, Le Lang Luong, Nguyen Xuan Thanh, Nguyen Ngoc Lam, Doan Van Bang, Hoang Mai Thiep – Vietnam University of Fine Arts.
In addition  to the participation of Tran Tuan Nghia – Ho Chi Minh City University of Fine Arts, Vu Huu Nhung, Nguyen Thang Long – Hanoi University of Industrial Fine Arts, Pham Thai Binh, Vu Binh Minh – Hanoi Architectural University, and some freelance sculptors: Thai Nhat Minh, Nguyen Huy Tinh, Tran Van An and Pham Bao Son.
Vietnam University of Fine Arts (formerly Hanoi College of Fine Arts) is an art school in Hanoi, Vietnam. It was established under the French rule in 1925. The university has trained many of Vietnam’s leading artists and each year it participates in many cultural exchanges with sister institutions overseas.
