A film screening week will be organised between December 19 and 25 throughout the country to celebrate the anniversary of Viet Nam People’s Army and the Party Congress.

The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism will host a film screening week in various localities throughout the country between December 19 and 25 to celebrate the 76th anniversary of the Viet Nam People’s Army (22/12/1944 - 22/12/2020) and the 13th National Party Congress, which is planned to take place in Ha Noi in January.
Six cinema works will be screened including movie Truyen Thuyet ve Quan Tien (Legend of Quan Tien) by Nam Phuong Ltd Company and DV&H JSC and Linh Chien (Soldiers) by The Movie Studio 1 JSC.
Documentaries screened at the event include Chung Toi la Linh Sinh Vien (We Are Student Soldiers) and Lu Mien Nui (Mountain Floods) by the Central Documentary and Scientific Film JSC ; and Truong Son Noi Ay Khac Ghi (Unforgettable Truong Son) by Liberation Film JSC.
Cartoon Soi Guong (Mirror) by Liberation Film JSC is also on the list.
In the document sent to the Cinema Department, which will organise the event, the ministry’s leader ordered that screenings should take place only at localities that control the pandemic well. The opening ceremony for the film screening week is planned to take place in the central province of Dak Lak and the northern province of Ninh Binh on December 19.
