Da Nang to host 5th East Asian Seas Congress 2015
The organising board for the East Asian Seas Congress 2015 slated for November 17-21 in the central city of Da Nang will be led by Vice Chairman of the municipal People’s Committee Nguyen Ngoc Tuan.

The Congress, themed “Global Targets – Local Benefits: Setting the Sustainable Development Agenda for the Seas of East Asia beyond 2015”, will include a senior government officials’ meeting, an East Asian Seas Partnership Council meeting, an international workshop on water resources, forums, dialogues with scientists and youth, an environment exhibition and field trips.
The fifth Ministerial Forum will be an important event of the EAS Congress 2015.
Participants will review coastal and sea marine zone management in the region and discuss successful research in coastal management and the East Asian marine sustainable development strategy.
As part of the Congress, the Partnerships in Environmental Management for the Seas of East Asian (PEMSEA)’s Network of Local Governments Forum will be organized on November 16.
